Burlington, MA-March 27, 2008-Burst Media, a leading provider of advertising representation, services and technology to independent Web Publishers, today announced the appointment of Richard Zeilhofer as Midwest Sales Manager. Zeilhofer brings proven experience in delivering exponential growth and organizational strategy to this position where he will lead Midwest sales and operations. He will be based in Chicago, Illinois.
This is the second market in which Zeilhofer will drive growth for Burst Media. Zeilhofer joined Burst’s London office in March 2006 and in June 2007 he was promoted to UK Sales Manager. His responsibilities included managing and buildings relationships with both agencies and direct clients, growing existing business, and looking for new revenue opportunities.

Prior to joining Burst, Zeilhofer started his media career in advertising by joining the London Daily Telegraph newspaper working in the display and classified departments as an account executive and was later promoted to account manager. As an account manager, Richard was responsible for managing and building relationships with some of the UK’s top advertising agencies. Richard was then promoted to Group Head on classified sales where he was responsible for managing the property & mail order supplements as well as the classified section of the Daily Telegraph magazine.
