Finance Positions

Staff Accountant - Payroll (Burlington)

  • Coordinate all payroll activities and functions system wide to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for US and UK employees. Process US payroll and make all associated entries and adjustments. Maintain personnel and company confidentiality. Maintain payroll database. Maintain Payroll Procedures manual.
  • Develop schedules for processing payrolls, including the calendar and calculation control files. Manage production of W-2’s, 1099-R’s, and 1042-S tax forms and ensure the accuracy of all information. Process all court-ordered or tax levied wage garnishments and ensures timely payment thereof.
  • Keep informed of governmental and contractual changes that impact the payroll operation and participates in the planning and implementation of programs to effect these changes.
  • Perform routine and non-routine data retrieval, research, analysis, and reporting from the payroll records as requested.
  • Function as a customer support person with responsibility for troubleshooting any reported problems; identifying the source of the problem and, either correcting the problem or, escalating it to the point of resolution.
  • Process customer billing for the completed advertising campaigns on the database system. (Verification and reconciliation between the information contained on the client signed insertion order, the internally generated work order, and the database system.)
  • Generate and send invoices/payments to the client/websites.
  • Prepare monthly accruals, journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1- 3 years relevant experience
  • Excellent data entry skills: accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office computer applications, plus Paychex system
  • Strong customer service/support and problem resolution skills required

Operations

Advertising Network Specialist (Burlington)

Expectations are to become the single point of contact for clients during the lifetime of the campaign, and to work with the 3rd party Sales team to meet their campaign objectives with optimization, statistics and creative.

This position requires an avid interest in the Internet and familiarity with current web trends in the web design, security/privacy, and web communities.


Primary Duties Include:

  • Provide exceptional advertiser and publisher support to clients
  • Utilize software to set up, manage and optimize internet campaigns
  • Work with websites to ensure proper setup for ad serving, based on their preferences
  • Test and Post Creatives (gifs, jpegs, third party, iframes, flash, Eyeblaster, Pointroll, Unicast and other rich media)
  • Implement campaign changes to exceed client expectations
  • Manage creative problems and troubleshooting (links not working, animation showing properly, third party tracking issues, etc.)
  • Recruit publishers to join emerging ad networks
  • Inside sales: Prospect and arrange calls with potential clients to utilize adConductor services and technology to gain access to inventory available from participating networks powered by the adConductor Inventory Exchange.
  • Occasional local/overnight travel required for outside sales calls.
  • Provide financial support to customers as needed to reconcile campaigns, bill advertisers, pay publishers and report on monthly advertising revenue.
  • Train new customers on adConductor technology, user interfaces and applications.

Required Skills:

Client Development Analysis/Trafficking Specialist (Burlington)

The Analysis and Trafficking Specialist will work hand in hand with the Campaign Management Specialist to ensure each campaign is successful and advertisers renew the business. Expectations are to work closely with customers on the campaign objectives and performance metrics. The Client Development Analysis/Trafficking Specialist also focuses on opportunities to improve the performance of campaigns throughout their flight and develop reporting to showcase improvements. Additional expectations include:

  • Reviewing and entering contract information into a database
  • Obtaining creative materials from advertisers
  • Scheduling and launching online advertising campaigns
  • Communicating with customers and Account Executives on campaign material needs and confirmation of launch
  • Analyze and monitor ongoing campaign performance
  • Maintaining and revising the campaigns at advertiser’s request
  • Strategizing with the Client Development Team to enhance performance of campaigns
  • Compiling post-campaign evaluations.

The Campaign Management Specialist will work hand in hand with the Client Development Analysis/ Trafficking Specialist to ensure each campaign is successful and advertisers renew the business. Publisher Services Associate (Burlington)

In the role of Publisher Services Associate, you will provide customer services to the over 6,000 sites represented by Burst Media. This includes heavy phone and email communication with potential and current publishers participating in Burst Network and Burst Direct. This position will maintain relationships both with our internal and external customers utilizing the ability to communicate effectively. This position will serve as a liaison between Sales and Publishers to implement creative sponsorships by understanding site capabilities and impression levels.

Primary Duties include:

  • Work with Burst Media’s Brand Solutions Team to implement and run sponsorship opportunities on Burst Media Publishers
  • Work with the Sales Department to determine areas of demand and develop messaging appropriate to those markets
  • Prospect for new publishers using cold calling techniques, lead sources and developing creative ways to target and contact potential Burst publishers
  • Troubleshoot problems, provide creative solutions
  • Cultivate relationships and provide outstanding customer service to existing and new publishers

Business Development Associate (Burlington)

Reporting to the Manager of Publisher Services, the Business Development Associate is primarily responsible for the identification and recruitment of web publishers, and to expand relationships with existing Burst Media publishers, in line with the goals of the Publisher Services Department. This role is responsible for increasing the number and quality of Burst Media publishers. This role will be involved in presentations, developing marketing collateral, and negotiating relationships with web publishers to establish business relationships, so dynamic presentation skills are required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify, attract, and contract with Web publishers through Burst membership process
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion of advertising inventory in US
  • Prospect for new publishers using cold calling techniques, lead sources and developing creative ways to target and contact potential Burst publishers
  • Work with the Sales Departments to determine areas of demand and develop messaging appropriate to those markets
  • Assist in development of collateral materials for the recruitment of publishers
  • Able to work independently, use company reporting tools, and manage status update process

Burst Direct was launched in May 2006 in response to the continuing demand from advertisers for performance-based direct response advertising networking solutions and the desire for publishers to fill as much of their inventory as possible with paid advertising. The business segment has experienced rapid growth with over 3,900 websites and approximately 30 purchased inventory vendors. Burst Direct is powered by Ad Conductor’s market-leading tools to reach the performance goals of the advertisers, including such innovations as dynamic pricing.

Burst Direct has three distinct product offerings; CPM direct response, CPA, and Feeds/RMX/Purchased Inventory, representing independent and interdependent revenue opportunities for the Company. Burst Direct aggregates and optimizes inventory from a broader field of web sites that meet the needs of large-scale direct marketers. For direct marketers, finding the best media placements to produce definitive results can be tricky. We are rapidly expanding our inside sales organization located in Burlington, Massachusetts. We seek a highly motivated and talented Inside Sales Account Executive who has a record of consistently meeting sales quotas and a tireless work ethic to succeed. The Account Executive is responsible for making outbound calls to advertising agencies and direct marketers who sell consumer and business products on a national level. You will be responsible for assessing client needs and recommending appropriate advertising solutions to meet their business objectives.

Medical Insurance - The coverage offered by the Company is 3 tiered and should cover all of your medical needs.

Dental Insurance - The coverage offered by the Company has 2 levels (with and without orthodontia), and is a 3 tiered plan.

Group Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment - The Basic Benefit is equal to 1 x an employee's annual earnings up to $200,000 maximum.   Additional employee, spousal and dependent coverages are available.

Short and Long Term Disability Coverage - Short term disability coverage begins after a 14-day elimination period. It covers 60% of your salary up to $1,500 per week for a maximum of 90 days. Long term disability provides 60% of salary coverage for a maximum of $10,000 per month after the 90 day elimination period, lasting to age 65.
